GDP比と産業革命とＩＴについて

マネックス証券の松本 大氏がGDPに関する興味深いスライドをまた一つ送ってくれた。ＩＴによって1人当たりGDPの格差が緩和されつつあるという仮説を裏づけるものだ。

19世紀の産業革命以前、世界のGDPシェアは各国の人口に比例していました。

ところがここ150年、資本主義や共産主義といったイデオロギーの勃興と技術発展の差が、GDPシェアに大きな影響を及ぼしてきたのです。

そして最近では、情報テクノロジーにより急速に技術が伝播し、またイデオロギー間の混合も見られ、GDPシェアが産業革命以前の状態に戻りつつあるのです。
