The Biggest Threat To Peace
Which country really poses the greatest danger to world peace in 2003? TIME asks for readers' views

I think the U.S. emerges as an easy target in that reader's poll. There's no context establishing article which preceeds it. Each voter's definition of World Peace is probably a little different, so the data that we really end up with is the result of what amounts to a popularity contest, IMO.

Generally agree with you, but this is pretty vivid. Also, Time Magazine is not really an anti-American magazine...

It is also remarkable to see North Korea is conceived as more dangerous country than Iraq. I thought European people have been showing more interest in Middle East related matters than situasion in Asia. This might also show European people's protest to US power against Middle East area.

The numbers have changed substantially since you took the last results. Currently:
7.3% responded North Korea
8.4% responded Iraq
84.3% responded USA.
As of today some 327,017 people have voted so far.

Thanks for the update Syed. That's amazing.
