With GNU making broadcast flags a software problem... what are you going to do?? outlaw ideas.

I think this is less of an end-to-end problem. If I read correctly, it is done end-to-end (broadcast flag insert by source and end-device check the flags).

But troublesome part of the proposal is how much control they want. I mean, ban open source? make all device manufacturers to get approval from hollywood? gosh.
