It's absolutely tasteless. People are dying in Iraq and all he can muster up is a lame-ass joke.

Frankly, I think Bush is entitled to a few yuks just like anyone else. I'm no longer a Bush fan, I think he's created huge problems for the US, but to me, to focus on whether he can make jokes at his own expense is not relevant to what the real issues are. I didn't think Clinton's intern issues were such a big deal either. . .

I appreciate that you are playing the Devil's advocate, but I gotta disagree with you. Bush is not entiled to a single "yuk" except the one that I expel from my mouth in disgust.

In the US, we are seeing pictures of the young Americans that have lost legs, etc, in the war. They are kids that literally didn't come home in one piece. I doubt they take this issue lightly. Can you imagine the betrayal they feel?
