nokia7600
I bought a new Nokia 7600 when I was in Helsinki. When I landed in Tokyo, my Docomo phone was not working. (I think I missed a bill payment.) But my Nokia 7600 roamed on the J-Phone WCDMA network without a hitch.

Probably only people who have travelled to Japan from GSM countries will understand how cool it is to be able to use your GSM SIM card in a phone in Japan where we don't have a GSM network.

More about the phone on my stuff blog.

That's certainly an odd looking phone. It doesn't look like it would be comfortable in my hand for an extended conversation.

EUR 4.09 per minute to make a call to Ireland on an Irish Vodafone SIM while roaming in Japan. It sure is convenient, but you have to be prepared to pay the premium ...

Great phone, I am using it myself currently and the thing is the camera is awesome... here are my Nokia 7600's photo album : http://lifelines.digiwerkz.com/lifefoto.php/

I can't get it to work either. Maybe in the next s/w update...

Try using the Bluetooth connection to your Mac. This works fine, and let's you use the phone as a wireless data modem. You can also use it to up and download items to the Gallery. If you buy PhoneManager 1.1.2 you can also use the Mac as a terminal to control the phone, make backups of your addresses, etc. Unfortunately, the phone doesn't work with iSync yet - none of the Series 40 phones do. I have a 6650, which is pretty much the same phone minus the 'interesting' form factor.

How much do they cost in
£?

I cant get music files onto my 7600 everytime i try to upload one with my bluetooth it says i dont have enough memory can anyone help
?

if the fone tells you that you dont have enough memory to upload tracks it means that on ur audio manager you are tryin to send it to ur gallery not music files folder, try clickin on music files then it should work

Dean,
I found out that you can only transfer files under 1.5 MB or so...nothing more than that. Shucksss...I hate it.
