What type of beverage was it? Burgundy wine? Or maybe even an old port wine?

I like Burgundy wine aaaa lot - red and white.

In the red I favor the not so high priced bottles - Savigny les Beaune for example, whereas for the white I like to make me pleasure with a bottle of Montrachet sometimes.
