However, mineral water is NOT going to help... the salt content in mineral water will induce water retention.
Your VERY best bet is plain water.
Also, if you need to drink alcohol (and who doesn't?), just stay away from beer and sake. Wine with meals is perfectly acceptable, and for when you need something stronger, vodka is recommended. (Though all alcohols contain sugar, so take it easy regardless).
