Here's the sequence of events:

1. Come into Berkman Center, see Joi, Jim, Dave.

2. Go upstairs. Check joi.ito.com.

3. See picture of Joi, Jim, Dave on moblog, while hearing them talk downstairs.

That's realtime for *real*, baby.

Also, it's particularly weird because immediately before spotting Joi, I was with Ethan Zuckerman, who told me he had a terrific time getting to know Joi in Geneva (sorry I missed it!), and that Joi was in Boston, but really really busy.
