Joi Ito's Web

Joi Ito's conversation with the living web.

I'm going to be on the Japanese FM radio station J-Wave tonight talking about blogging. I just got a technorati inbound instant message from my technorati script telling me that I just received a link from Sachiko who will be interviewing me tonight. She blogged about meeting me today. She blogs! How cool is that. Look forward to meeting you!

It's from 21:15 on J-Wave if anyone is interested, but if you're reading this, you probably don't need to listen. ;-)

Hello Joi-san! I am really really excited about meeting you tonight! I just checked my own blog and the counter was like way up so I was like huh?! so now it explains why, You put a post about me, I am so flattered :) My blog is like my own personal journal, so it isn't all that informative or anything.. kind of makes me blush still, I just started 3 months ago because Nonaka-san was telling me about blog and I just could not figure out what it was so I thought it would be the quickest way to just do it myself, I am amazed at how easy it was to start my own blog! It's amazing :) Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting you!!!! PS And I must say that your new doggie is soooo cute :)

I'm going to read your whole blog before I meet you. It's such a great thing to know so much about people before you meet or after you've just met. It's a bit scary, but does change human interaction. Some day, your children may read your blog. hehe.

Anyway, I'm so glad I'll be talking to someone who "gets it". Look forward to meeting you!

I was listening to the program. It was interesting.

One point, I think the number of Japanese bloggers have surely exceeded 10,000, at least in the last week, thanks to Nifty's Cocolog :)

Kewl interview!
Our office is set to J-Wave and by chance I got to catch some of the program.
For some reason I knew I would find more info here :)

Joi, are you aware of any Japanese radios, available online?

So far, I've only been able to find the Sasha program on J-Wave and other stations that constantly play J-Pop.
I don't actually care much about the music, I'm interested in hearing DJs/people talking.
